A Calm Body Equals a Calm Mind

When most people think of the nervous system, they think of communication from the brain to the body.  Realize that 20% of the information traveling through the nervous system is from the brain to the body.  The REMAINING 80% is from the BODY TO THE BRAIN.  There is an incredible complexity of information that your body is taking in from its internal environment as well as its external environment (every minute aspect of your external environment).  Depending upon the level of tension and stress in the nervous system as well as its neurological patterning, the way in which this information from the body to the brain is interpreted varies.

Increased amounts of tension and where the tension is stored affect your perception.  Specific areas of stored tension create more FEAR, increased attachment to TRAUMA/engaging the perspective of PAST TRAUMA, feelings of being a VICTIM, the need for CONTROL, uncertainty of your ROLES in life, even a sense of RESIGNATION.  When your brain can access those areas of tension and create more adaptability and neurological integrity, you have the ability to recognize how those tension patterns are/were affecting your perception, but then you also have access to TRANSFORM.  When more ease is created in the body, you can access the energetic information without the charge of the associated trauma that created the tension pattern in the first place.  This is the magic of Network Spinal Chiropractic care.

Stress is an internal factor, not an external factor.  When you can create more ease in the body, you create more ease in the mind.  When the body can communicate more efficiently with the brain, we have more access to the ease, perspective shifts, and healing.
